- Abstract
The article presents information on a dental research study which aims to determine difference in probing depth between the attachment level and the base of the periodontal osseous defect. Subjects for the study were three adult stump-tail monkeys. The study found that the mean bony probing depth after surgical debridement was significantly greater than the mean probing depth measured preoperatively for attachment level. The study shows that there was a significant difference in clinical periodontal probing before and after surgical debridement.
