- Abstract
The article presents a study on the benefits of a post-student teaching laboratory experiences in teacher education programs in the University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware. The senior students majoring in the field of elementary education spend the first eight weeks of the public school year in full time, off campus student teaching at the university. In 1953, it was decided to plan an experimental program of post-student teaching laboratory experience. A selected group of school administrators, representing school systems of varying size and characteristics, was invented to the campus for explanatory discussions.
