Title
DISCHARGE FOR VIOLATION OF CONNECTICUT GAMBLING LAWS REMAINS AN ARBITRABLE ISSUE.
Abstract
This article focuses on the court ruling given in Jenkins Brothers v. Local 5623, United Steelworkers of America case. Discharge for violation of Connecticut gambling laws remains an arbitrable issue. The argument that Connecticut court held, that an award would be contrary to Connecticut policy, was refuted in holding that "the question whether an award would be enforceable is one of federal law."
