- Abstract
The article reports on the importance of a new Child Health Promotion Programme for England, according to health minister Anne Keen. In April 2007, the Family Nurse Partnership programme was started by the Department of Children, Schools and Families and Department of Health. Keen encouraged commissioners to prioritize the new programme. She noted that the programme can be a valuable tool for commissioners to meet their obligations on breastfeeding, obesity prevention and infant mortality.
