- Abstract
The article explores the environmental impact of the planned road through northern Tanzania that crosses the Serengeti National Park (SNP). The authors disagree with claims that the road will lead to demise of the national park. They believe that other threats will have effects on the site, including human population growth, the destruction of the Mau Forest catchment area of Mara River, climate change and poverty.
