- Abstract
It is obvious that, in terms of knowledge, preparing the understanding and enforcement of EU law, in particular after the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon on 1 December 2009, a treaty extending the jurisdiction of the court in Luxembourg to those fields where the Court could only adjudicate following a statement made by the Member States ( police and judicial cooperation in criminal matters), involves more and more consistent action on the part of all categories of legal professions, action imposing the creative use of the outcomes deriving from the activity of national courts in their permanent dialogue with EU courts. The importance of enforcing EU law also arises, unequivocally, out of the content of the new codes (the Civil Code and the Code of Civil Procedure) which have recently come into force. In this respect, the action for the interpretation of points of law, falling under the procedure of reference for preliminary rulings, is significant.
