- Abstract
The article presents a study on the prevalence of pseudoterranova decipients in local fish stocks in the island of Bornholm in Baltic Sea. The study compares the parasitological investigation in 97 cod in 1982-1983 and the 2011 survey of fillets dissected from 20 cod. It says that methods used include worm fixation, light microscopy, and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Result shows that cods from 1982-1983 has no worms, whereas the 2011 survey shows a total of 46 p. decipiens larvae.
