- Abstract
This article presents the case study of a 63-year-old man who is suffering from epigastric pain, weight loss and a low-grade fever. The histological evaluation of his gastric biopsies revealed non-specific inflammation without granulomas or evidence of Helicobacter pylori. He was treated with proton pump inhibitors. However, his treatment did not result in a significant improvement in his symptoms. The upper gastrointestinal endoscopy was repeated due to the iron-deficiency anemia development.
