- Abstract
The article offers information on the new wave of civic engagement from young people and marching for gun control, defending the rights of Dreamers, and mobilizing in the Black Lives Matter movement by Millennials. Topics discussed include showed support for both Barack Obama and Bernie Sanders during their Democratic presidential candidate bids; and lack of investment in young people by progressive organizations and the lowest voter turnouts of young people and Latinos in the U.S. It mentions the plan of Democratic Candidate Beto O'Rourke to unseat Ted Cruz.
