Since their creation in mid-2000's, Social Media Apps have evolve to a degree that through complex systems of algorithms and artificial intelligence they memorize the behavior of users on the Internet and predict what future movements will be with a precision that could be define as millimetric. But not only Social Media mine personal data and the behavior of users on the Internet, other platforms and online business models take advantage of the vast information for commercial, propagandist and even illegal or unethical purposes. The main objective of this paper of research aims to analize the dark side of Social Media as persuasive and manipulative mechanisms of human psyche.
