- Abstract
This document is a collection of abstracts from various research studies related to obesity and weight loss. The studies cover a range of topics, including the development of an individualized app intervention for weight loss, the impact of weight stigma from social media on coping responses and health outcomes, risk and protective factors for anti-fat attitudes among Chinese women, obesogenic environmental factors that influence parenting practices, the predictive utility of the Health Action Process Approach for exercising in overweight adults in a collectivist culture, the relationship between self-reported food addiction and compulsion and brain activity, and the relationship between adverse childhood experiences and weight status among adolescents. These studies provide valuable insights into the complex factors that contribute to obesity and weight-related issues, and offer potential strategies for intervention and prevention.
