A case study is presented of a rare adverse effect of oseltamivir, an oral neuraminidase inhibitor used to manage acute influenza, in an 84-year-old female who developed upper gastrointestinal bleeding. They discuss possible mechanisms for this effect and emphasize the need for vigilance regarding rare adverse reactions to oseltamivir.
