The article presents a profile and discusses the work of the Hong Kong, China-born artist Josh Hon. Topics addressed include: his artistic training in the U.S., his work as a painter and, more importantly, as a performance artist and experimental theater producer, and how the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre in China impacted his life and work. Hon's eventual emigration to Canada is also discussed.
