- Abstract
In this study aimed to monitor seasonal changes in the microbiological properties in Egirdir Lake which in Turkey's 2nd largest freshwater lake. The study was conducted in 2013 seasonal. Water samples were taken from nine stations on the lake and total coliforms, fecal coliforms, Escherichia coli (E.coli) and total aerobic bacteria analyzes were performed. As a result, the lake water for total coliform count ranged between 0 and 34. The obtained values were limit values (70 EMS/100 ml) below. Fecal coliform, 4th Station period the summer, 7th and 9th Stations were detected period the autumn. In other station it has not been determined. Total E. coli was not detected at all stations. Total bacteria ranged between with 0 to 172 cfu/100 ml. The obtained data on Surface Water Quality Management Regulation Water Resources was determined to be below the acceptable value when evaluated.
