The author reflects on various cases of plagiarism and on the necessary policies to avoid them. It is believed that recurrent plagiarism resulted from poor responses from journal editors and institutions. He criticizes some institutions who do not have balanced plagiarism policies for students and faculties. He likewise comments on the suggested naming of plagiarists by suggesting a new listing in their annual index.
