- Abstract
The article focuses on the criminalization beyond the circumstances of racial discrimination among young Black males in the U.S. It states that the criminal justice system caught the young Black males in higher rates than other racial and ethnic groups. It says that the criminalization correlates to socio-economic indicators of education, employment, and criminal victimizations. Moreover, the increased of incarceration rate rooted from public policies and prosecutorial discrimination changes.
