- Authors
Kim, Jinsook; Jung, Minwoo
- Abstract
[5] influential monograph I Between Men i popularized the concept of homosociality, which refers to the social or affective bonds between persons of the same sex. In other words, the "male traffic in women" ([5]) is essential not only in the establishment and maintenance of homosociality but also in the reproduction of the transnational capitalist class and patriarchal capitalism worldwide. The show further suggests that the ensuing damage to the financial and physical health of ordinary, indebted Koreans has been indispensable to the development of Korean capitalism, the country's global entanglements, and the associated transnational homosocial bonding.
