- Abstract
The article offers a diagnosis for the case study of a 53-year-old woman experiencing sharp retrosternal chest pain who displayed T-wave inversions on her electrocardiogram (ECG). Following cardiac catheterization, the patient was diagnosed with stress-induced cardiomyopathy, an apical ballooning syndrome often mistaken for myocardial infarction. Topics include elevated troponin levels, the prevalence of the disease in postmenopausal women, and fibrinolytic therapy.
