- Abstract
The increase of the Angle's III/1 class malocclusions prevalence and that the highest percentage of the Angle's third class malocclusions is found at increasingly smaller age determined the conducting of this epidemiological study regarding the risk factors in producing these skeletal discrepancies. During this study were followed children aged 6 to 14 years for which were analyzed the etiologic factors involved in the early disharmonies in the Angle's III/1 class malocclusions. The loss of sight of the morphofunctional imbalances occurrence at lowest ages and thus the lack of an adequate treatment constantly leads to permanent Angle's III/1 class malocclusions.
