- Title
Response to the Commentary: Children and Predictive Genomic Testing.
- Authors
Tarini, Beth A.; Tercyak, Kenneth P.; Wilfond, Benjamin S.
- Abstract
The article offers the authors' insights in response to the commentary on their article about predictive genomic testing in children. They state that their research paper does not concentrate on direct-to-consumer (DTC) testing of children, rather it is on predictive genomic testing in general. They also add that it is not constructive to forego research on predictive genomic testing in children due to the limitations in venue. They argue that the genomic testing is not an unethical matter.
