- Title
LAW'S VIOLENCE: DERRICK BELL'S NEXT ARTICLE.
- Authors
Delgado, Richard
- Abstract
An essay is presented which predicts what the late law professor Derrick Bell might have written about in his next law review article, and it mentions Bell's interest in the connections between law, politics, and violence. Racial protests and the concept of originary violence are addressed, along with justice and due process in America. The relationship between violence and the state is examined, as well as violence's role in jurisdiction, immigration, and civil rights in the U.S.
