It states that themelic schools were beneficiaries of funding and policy changes in post-1996 and many schools profess, teach, and controversial positions on the relationship among church, state, and the position of Christian citizens to secular law. It mentions that the first funding under Liberal Prime Minister Robert Menzies went to Catholic secondary schools.
