- Abstract
The article focuses on the clinical presentation, which include examination, treatment, and nursing measures, for Allergic Contact Dermatitis (ACD). It mentions the most common causes of ACD that are also classified as antigens including Rhus Genus, Poison Ivy, and Poison Sumac. It states that ACD is an irritation of the secondary skin upon contact with an allergen. Furthermore, it says that prevention of contact is the best form of protection from allergens.
