Two Labrang monks rearrested for 2008 protests.
Abstract
The article reports on the arrest of two monks in Labrang Monastery in Sangchu County of Gansu Province in Tibet, China after a large number of paramilitary People's Armed Police raided the monastery. It is noted that the monks were arrested for questioning about the protests in 2008 in the area. It reveals that the arrest marks the fourth time that they were arrested for their alleged involvement in several protests.
