- Title
ISLANADA DE ELMO VALENCIA: RESPLANDOR BEATNIK EN EL MOVIMIENTO NADAíSTA.
- Authors
Ocampo, Gilberto Gómez
- Abstract
This essay studies Elmo Valencia's novel as a prime example of the innovative force of the nadaísta movement in Colombian literature. It places it within the panoply of aesthetic and axiological concerns that were common to both the Beatniks in the USA and the nadaístas. The essay proposes that the novel is a pivotal text both within Colombia's literary system and also when seen from the point of view of inter-American literary exchanges.
