- Abstract
The REDS define personnel and structural requirements for sustainable gender equality and the promotion of diversity in the science and university landscape. Disparity in society naturally translates into Science (Meinikmann et al. [7]). Although the awareness of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) in aquatic sciences is increasing (e.g., Sánchez-Montoya et al. [9]; Maranger [6]; Catalán et al. [1]) the gender- and diversity-gaps remain (Meinikmann et al. [7]).
