The article focuses on the laws and legislations made for the protection of the workplace privacy in the era of social media. Topics discussed include impact of exponential rise of the online social networks on the privacy of the personal as well as professional information, influence of disclosure of personal information on social networking sites on workplace privacy and constitutional amendments for protecting the digital age. It further discusses the need of privacy protection.
