- Abstract
The article focuses on vascular access practices in China. It discussed the results of a survey that involved work practices of current vascular access nurses in China which found that lack of affordable insurance is a major factor that influences vascular access in China and nurses are responsible for peripheral IV and peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) placement and the maintenance of both PICC and physician-inserted, tunneled and permanent central venous devices.
