- Authors

- Abstract
In this article, the author examines whether biomarkers can be used to predict bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). It mentions that T helper cells (Th1 and Th2) help regulate inflammatory responses and maintain inflammatory homeostasis in the lungs; and Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) is preferentially associated with Th1 responses and eotaxin plays a role in Th2 responses.
