The article focuses on the potential of anti-inflammatory diet in preventive medicine, as research demonstrates an association between dietary patterns and biomarkers of inflammation. It says that studies showed the impact of the food being ingested on inflammatory diseases and overall health. It discusses food that can increase inflammation including fried food, refined grains, and sugar, while whole grains, fish and poultry, and legumes can decrease the risk of developing inflammation.
