- Abstract
The article presents the author's view concerning the Ferrini decision on war crimes caused and immunity of the State. He comments on the decision that dismissed individual claims of compensation for forced labor by the German Federal Supreme Court. He stresses that the Ferrini judgment is a telling case of possible dangers of civil actions of war reparation frameworks. He notes on the main arguments concerning the fundamental human rights in the jus cogens nature. The author emphasizes the need for further development of protection of human rights in the International law
