- Abstract
The article focuses on the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case Miranda v. Arizona and dissenting opinions in Miranda and assumed that Miranda would be a criminal justice disaster. Topics discussed include Fifth Amendment privilege forbids custodial interrogation, waiver of the right to counsel with right to obtain the advice of a lawyer and decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case Salinas v. Texas regarding invocation of the Fifth Amendment.
