- Authors
Gibney, Elizabeth
- Abstract
The article discusses the success of the European Space Agency's (ESA) comet lander, the Philae probe, which landed on comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. It talks about the images sent by Philae of the surface of Churyumov-Gerasimenko. Topics include organic molecules detected on the comet's surface, the use of Rosetta spacecraft equipped with Rosetta Magnetometer and Plasma Monitor (ROMAP) to study the comet's magnetic field and its activity near the Sun.
