- Abstract
The article informs According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as of January 31, 2023, 30,157 cases of monkeypox have been reported in the United States since May 2022, with 32 associated deaths. The modified vaccinia Ankara vaccine, JYNNEOS, is recommended for subcutaneous administration to persons at increased risk for monkeypox and has been shown to provide protection against infection.
