- Abstract
The article offers information on the significance of aldehydes as natural insecticides against stored-product beetles. An observation is conducted, remarking the possible strategies to reduce the use of synthetic insecticide, including fumigants that are produced by plants. Moreover, a fumigation test associated with several compounds such as (2E,6Z)-nonadienal, (2E)-nonenal, and (2E)-hexenal is also observed using feeding bioassays inclosed with glass chambers. It also notes the results from feeding and fumigation that indicates the effective control of plant aldehydes for stored-product beetles
