The article focuses on joint criminal enterprise liability before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) with customary international law. It mentions need for prosecution of mass atrocities including war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, and violations of basic human rights. It mentions rules of statutory interpretation, the Appeals Chamber concluded that liability for common or collective criminality.
