- Title
An Examination of the Relationship Between Success in Junior High School Practice Teaching and Prior Experience with Children.
- Abstract
The article reports on the results of the study to determine the relationship between success in junior high school practice teaching and prior experience with children in the U.S. The findings of the study indicate that there were no significant differences in grades between students who had and those who had no prior experience with children. However, the study had certain limitations which led the author to conclude that whether or not an applicant had prior experience with children before entering the program, it has no direct relationship to his success in practice teaching.
