- Abstract
The article reports developments in teacher education in Kentucky. A third annual Kentucky Education Association Leadership Conference discusses Teacher Education and Professional Standards, as one of the major areas of study, held at Richmond on August 7-9, 1952. Meanwhile, the experimental program of the Ford Foundation which trains ten elementary teachers every year at the University of Louisville, attempts to ameliorate the quality of elementary teaching and to draw in more students to the field of elementary teaching with a high level of intelligence.
