- Abstract
The article reports that Swedish researchers Leval and colleagues have presented a novel data on the real-world effectiveness of population-based roll-out of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination against rates of genital warts for women in Sweden. It highlights the country's investment in record linkage systems to capture country-level coverage data on individual's vaccination status and clinical outcomes. The report indicates that HPV vaccine is highly effective against warts in young girls.
