- Abstract
The authors first isolated the stellate ganglia (SG) from wild-type mice, and recorded excitatory postsynaptic currents (EPSCs) following orthograde electrical stimulation of the second thoracic nerve trunk. This protocol permitted Clyburn and colleagues to evoke EPSCs in the SG without activating presumed postganglionic interneurons within the ganglia.
