- Abstract
A case study of a 7-year-old boy diagnosed with congenital Long QT syndrome (LQTS) type 3 is presented. Topics discussed include nonsustained polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (PVT), electrocardiography (ECG) pattern of the patient and a beat-to-beat fluctuation in T wave morphology and QT interval in the ECG pattern. An image of results of twelve-lead ECG depicting the onset of T-wave alternans and narrow–wide type QRST-wave alternans is also presented.
