- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 16-year-old boy with a history of acute lymphoblastic leukemia and complications following hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCT). It discusses how FMT was used to treat recurrent GvHD (graft-versus-host disease) in this patient, particularly in the gastrointestinal tract, and its potential role in changing the microbiome composition to reduce inflammation and promote immunotolerance in GvHD patients.
