The article reports on advances in the radiation cured coatings due to increased regulatory requirements and performance. Topics discussed include challenges for the manufacturers of radiation-cured coatings and LED(light emitting diode)-cured coatings due to increase in expectations for sustainable coatings, presence of low or zero volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) in radiation-cured coatings, and China as the leading user of radiation-curing technology.
