- Abstract
It is generally accepted that consulting students and considering their feedback can develop the quality of an education system. This paper attempts to study the overall satisfaction of the student in management education. It tries to study the expectation of students and the importance of their feedback to upgrade management education in terms of teaching and learning enhancement. A major drawback in this process is that students being the primary customer, may not know what is best for them and, not necessarily, should they be delivered whatever they ask for. This paper discusses how to segregate the abnormal expectations from normal expectations so that the overall satisfaction level can be measured with greater accuracy for decision-making. The Mahalanobis-Taguchi System (MTS) has been used as a tool for this purpose. Also in gathering feedback from the students, the structure of the feedback form plays an important role in the decision-making process.
