- Abstract
The article discusses the Egypt to Israel cross-border raid of the Islamist militant group Partisans of Jerusalem or Ansar Bait al-Maqdis as a disciplinary attack for people who insulted the Prophet. It mentions the call in Egypt for revising the security annex in the peace treaty with Israel in 1979 on having more troops to combat militant threats. It also notes that crackdown of Egyptian security in Sinai started in August 2012 and has led to death of 32 persons and arrest of 38 suspects.
