- Abstract
Recently, the logistics sector has reached an important dimension both due to its impact on the national economies of countries and its contribution to competitiveness. Countries with a high level of logistics performance have started to show themselves in international trade by growing even faster economically. International level logistics performance evaluations are of great importance for countries that want to determine their positions among other countries in the world. In this study, published by the World Bank in 2018 using the six criteria of the Logistics Performance Index (LPI) (customs, infrastructure, international transportation, logistics service quality, traceability and timely delivery), OECD countries were divided into clusters in terms of their logistics performance. The WEKA program was used in the study and countries were divided into four clusters in terms of their logistics performance with the Canopy algorithm, one of the clustering algorithms. After the cluster analysis, whether there are significant differences between clusters in terms of criteria was analyzed with the Kruskal-Wallis Test. It was determined that the clusters obtained after the analysis showed significant differences in terms of all variables. As a result of the study, performance evaluation regarding the clusters was made.
