- Abstract
The "Transverse intervention based on the situation problem: expert report", for physics courses for engineering students is described. Physics knowledge teachered and contents of parallel courses have to be transferended for its resolution. The developed proposal consists of a problem situation from a traffic accident between two cars. Students have to determinate the speed to which the vehicles were circulating, the possible mechanism of the accident and some routes of optimization of the procedure to follow in future cases. To answer to these questions, the students must cross a way that includes the search of information relative to the vehicles, to the conditions of the causeways, to the in force legislation, etc. From the perspective of the active learning, there is claimed that the student achieves the significant integration of the constructed knowledge, the development of competitions linked to the future professional incumbencies, as well as transverse competitions that complete a vision of the student as an integral and social human being.
