- Title
Descentralización Política y Democracia en América latina - Una Relación Problemática-.
- Authors
Enrique Martínez Cárdenas, Edgar; Manuel Ramírez Mora, Juan
- Abstract
The reflection of this article has to do with questioning the reductionist vision which has been in the center of the analysis about political decentralization and democracy in Latin America. Based on this goal, new research challenges have been proposed in order to have a better comprehension concerning the scope and limitations of this relationship throughout the different countries of this region. In doing so, a new objective appears in terms of adopting, with a better empirical evidence, those required decisions to improve the democratic quality of the Latin American municipalities.
