- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a four-month-old female Bearded Dragon (Pogona vitticeps) presented to the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) with a discolored and flaky skin on the neck. It states that the Bearded Dragon has been diagnosed with dark and yellow discoloration of the scales in the ventral surface of the neck. The article also discusses Yellow Fungus Disease (YFD), causative agent of YFD, and standards of biopsy and histologic examination.
