The Future of Broadband in South Korea.
- Abstract
An interview with Seang-Tae Kim, president of the National Information Agency of South Korea, is presented. Kim says that the Broadband Convergence Network Construction Plan, formulated in 2004, seeks to provide connection speeds of more than 50 megabytes per second (Mbps). He mentions that information and communication technology industry is at the core of the country's economy. He adds that South Korea was ranked based on international indices.
